Keel-billed Toucan on Footed Jar

This is the Keel-billed Toucan. I finally saw this particular toucan in Cahuita National Park, which is on the southern (Carribbean) coast of Costa Rica near Puerto Viejo. There are six kinds of toucans in CR. I also made a quick trip into the Pre-Columbian Gold museum in San Jose before leaving that wonderful country and saw the ancient pottery. Who knows what colors they were originally……
