Wild Pink Bananas

Not to be confused with Red Bananas which are sweet, red-skinned variety like the Red Dacca. Pink bananas usually refer to a different, less common variety, the Pink Velvet”(musa velutina) and are often smaller still and contain many hard seeds. Red Dacca bananas have creamy pinkish flesh and are a more common edible type.
