This is the Turquoise-browed motmot in Costa Rica. They are known for their long, "racquet-tipped" tails that they swing like a pendulum, a behavior that can alert predators. These birds are common, found in habitats like rainforests and forest edges, and feed on insects, small reptiles, and fruit.
