Pinecone Ginger

Aka Shampoo Ginger, Pinecone ginger is good for hair and skin care, culinary uses, and medicinal purposes. It is traditionally used as a natural shampoo and conditioner by squeezing the liquid from its "pinecone" flower heads. The plant's rhizomes and leaves can also be used for cooking, and its roots have been used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments. One of my favorite tropical flowers!
